How Much?
It has been a super busy two months for me, I have been getting to run for Congress! I bet you’re like WTF she’s running for a government office? But yeah it’s true, crazy right? Keep an eye on my campaign webpage to see where I stand on important issues and news on my run, also if you feel so inclined donations really help (keep in mind you must be an American Citizen or hold a Green Card to donate to the campaign).
Panel 2, “present” -> “percent”; panel 3 left, drop the apostrophe and the internal question mark; panel 3 right, I assume “no a” was supposed to be “no a few”.
I hope you can keep up with both the comic and the politics.
Ah, stupid spelling errors, I truly am back in the groove.
I would vote for you if I were a citizen. Could you please defend the rights of my fellow Latinos in the states?
Immigration reform and streamlining the Visa and Greencard application process is a huge part of my platform, so I got their back. 😀
Good luck, and know you are not alone: http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/6/14/1671784/-Transgender-woman-wins-Democratic-primary-to-take-on-GOP-sponsor-of-Virginia-bathroom-bill?detail=emaildkre
Will you be handling Jail reform as well? Our current prison system is atrocious.

Congratulations on your decision to throw your hat into the ring. As a woman that transitioned in Texas, I would love to see the federal adoption of California standards of non-discrimination. Such a thing would be a long-term fight, but it is a battle worth fighting.
The only thing I have to ask, is whether you are going to be running as a Democrat. As President of my local chapter of the Stonewall Democrats, please tell me you are, so I can bring you up at the next meeting!
Regardless, as someone who was reading your comics since the “old days” in college, I congratulate you on your achievements and I hope you are successful in this endeavor. Good Luck! Fight with courage and win!
Thanks for your kind words! As for if I’m a Democrat, I am not, I have been an independent most of my life, Well other than one year where I switched to Democrat so I could vote for Sanders.
There is also a Trans woman running in TX:

Yes! She’s actually really quite nice! I got to meet her at the Texas Democratic Convention, as my wife and I were Bernie delegates. She’s quite formidable, we would do much better having women like her represent Texas than the ones we seem to keep sending right now.
I also got to meet Jenifer Rene Pool, but sadly she was defeated in the general election. Still, keep the fires burning and keep fighting!
Good luck!
