Kazoos, Propeller hats, bubbles, a donkey, sounds like an opening act.
This seems like it’s going to get weird.
I think I saw this band once when I was in Virginia. They were better than you would think.
Of those I’ve seen, they often are. They tend to adopt a lot of strange props to make themselves more memorable.
Sadly, some are, but for different reasons.
As for Mock Girl becoming weird…..

Been away for a while so just saw the blurb on Ore Ska Band. Not a fan since the make over. They could really rock back in the day. Saw them at the 2007 Anime Expo when they wore white button-downs and skinny black ties. I guess the Japanese couldn’t handle girls who aren’t cutesy. Try Tsumasaki , What a Wonderful World or SUPER DUPER. There still a good band but I liked them their Ska which there is less and less of. They sound more like cake; good but it’s not Ska.
ps love the comic it dell off my radar during the haunted house break and I’m just now finding time to catch up. Enjoying what I’ve seen so far.
