Money
Well I have not updated in a week. and I do feel bad about that. I was super depressed and truth be told kind of suicidal the last 2 weeks, so the comic was the last thing on my mind. But thanks to my good friend Drew I’m doing a bit better now and I’m going to get back into the swing of things.
Also I’m going to start doing Terra’s Diary in the next few days, hopefully it will be a good way to get things off my chest, so keep an eye out for that.
As an old, transgendered woman (I was brutally outed in 1973.), I know This T Life can be hard to live. It gets better. Specifically, it got better for me when I discovered (with some resistance) that life was not about what one gets out of it, but what one provides. My life was not going to be a great romance. I was often someone’s dirty little secret — not the kind of girl a guy would take home to his mother, although he might take me home to his father, if it was his birthday. 😉 I was often alone and malignantly lonely.
All things considered, whatever price we have to pay for the privilege of being alive, and providing our gifts to humanity and the World, is worth it. Look to the people You love, pay attention to what they want and need, and provide that. This comic is a great gift to the World. Keep providing that. No one ever wants You to take Yourself away from the World. So don’t provide what no one wants.
If You would like to talk, please send an email and I’ll give You my phone number. Love Your strip, by the way. I always wanted to be that kind of stripper, instead of the other kind, although I did do “industrial cartooning” for a while. I was a member of the Cartoonists’ Guild and NCS for many years. We have a lot in common.
