What airline are they flying? This looks to be beyond normal fist class seating. It looks so roomy and futuristic. Those chairs are recliners! Sam should be happy she isn’t in economy class, where the passenger seated in front of you reclines his chair, and his head winds up in your lap.
Actually more and more airlines are making their first / business class like this. I sat in something like this once, not as good as the one in the comic, but damn close. I got upgraded because the dude next to me was so overweight he was about a foot into my seat. The stewardess felt bad for me and I was being super nice about the situation so I got put in business class and damn I can understand why people pay extra for that, it was the best.
Went to Australia (from Britain) over Christmas, and the airline (Etihad) made you walk through first/business/whatever class to get to economy and it was a bit like this. So it’s probably the difference between a domestic/intra-continental flight and a long-hall flight, or between a jumbo jet and a non-jumbo? But yeah, even on a long-hall flight/jumbo jet economy legroom is the worst especially when the person in front of you puts their seat back. Half the flight there the person in front of me *did* have their seat back, and I wasn’t ready for sleeping but that made reading or anything really difficult, but they were asleep so I didn’t feel like I could wake them up to tell them to put their seat forward
The way to deal with flying phobia is to remember, you gotta die eventually.
Most ways you die pretty slow and painfully.
In an airplane crash, you die really quick and as a bonus, your family gets a pay out from the airline.
I’ve flown a few times. It’s not so bad if you think of it a lot like a bus. Just another way to get a bunch of people from Point A to Point B real quick.

Oh wait, this *is* an intra-continental flight :/
Unless my thinking Sam lived in the US somewhere was just an assumption and was wrong?
Heh, not enough room for that.Passenger reclines and ihs headrest is on your face. Looks very ultra first class!
And I fly like that, too. Except in the cheap seats you can’t move enough to show panic. Your brain explodes but no one sees it!
Oh yes. The cheap seats.
I call that section “steerage”.
Swiping (and paraphrasing) a line from Erin Lindsey “If God wanted man to fly he would have given him real seats.
Steerage is an apt description!

I know exactly how Sam feels 🙁
Flying is not as fun as it sounds
“Stewardess”? I think that term got replaced with “flight attendant” decades ago!
Forgot what they were called.
Cabin crew
I was wondering, are they in America or are they flying from a different country to America?
They live someplace…
I haven’t needed to choose where they live yet. Someday I may need to make that choice, but it’s not today.
